Another novelty at Prinovis: OK! Magazine and Red Bulletin

Two more highlights in the Prinovis portfolio: OK! Magazin Deutschland and Red Bulletin. One of them reports to us weekly about the world of stars and starlets, the other is a lifestyle magazine from the Red Bull world.

The OK! Magazine is a leading British weekly with interviews and gossip from the world of the rich and glamorous. OK! describes itself as the »biggest people magazine in the world«, it appears in 15 countries on five continents and reaches 30 million readers per month – now also in Germany. OK! Deutschland is a joint venture of Northern Shell and the Klambt publishing group. The German language edition is printed by Prinovis Dresden and has a weekly circulation of over half a million. The team members are Sabine Naumann (Product Manager) and Jan Magatzki with Dirk Bois from Sales.

The first issue of »Red Bulletin« appeared on 6 November, with a circulation of 1.1 million. The »almost independent monthly magazine« (Red Bulletin about itself) will be inserted in the Austrian daily papers »Kleine Zeitung«, »Oberösterreichische Nachrichten«, »Die Presse«, »Salzburger Nachrichten«, »Tiroler Tageszeitung«, »Vorarlberger Nachrichten« and also in the weeklies »Niederösterreichische Nachrichten« and »Burgenländische Volkszeitung«.

It is said »Red Bulletin« will be topical, humorous, witty and pointed in its reporting on the Red Bull world. The chief of Red Bull, Dietrich Mateschitz says: »With a pointed pen and a twinkle in the eye, we will target our friends and also ourselves affectionately and with wit«. The focus in the approximately 100 pages will be on sport, society, art, culture. At the beginning of the year, Prinovis signed an agreement on printing the German language edition (minded by Frank Ehrhorn from Sales and Matthias Eck from Product management). There may be further growth potential for Prinovis if the magazine expands into other countries. The execution, by the way, is as sportive as the content: the product is adhesive bound and the production period very tight.
